I believe button blue came about through the development of CSS buttons and codes. Social media is blue. The sky is so blue it feels frivolous, the puddles so big they are as seas, and summer is so near everything about being in school feels off. There is a certain playfulness in color that I feel I am losing every time I capture it, though perhaps that is the point of this exercise, to objectively explore the development of a particular object. How do you teach creativity? How do we mathematize the process? Flaherty has a few hypotheses on the development of creativity, though they all seem intrinsically intertwined with mental illnesses or disorders. Is the experience of such trauma necessary for the development of something worthwhile? Unfounded playfulness, is that madness, Alice down the rabbit hole?
