The color bubbles is composed of 90.6% red, 99.6% green and 100% blue, but only if it’s in a RBG color space. In a CMYK color space, it is composed of 9.4% cyan, 0.4% magenta, 0% yellow and 0% black. I chose colors as a way to explore history, but it seems more deeply rooted in mathematics, physics even.
Somehow, starting with something frivolously light and round does not seem exceptionally amiss in spite of this wonderfully capricious Chicagoean weather. The day seems buoyant, though I suspect it is colored by the prospect of starting something new, and more specifically, creating something new. I have always been too fond of beginnings and nonsense, and too terrible with endings and linear progressions. Fear of commitment, I suspect; a most terrible affliction.
